Meet Sarah, a black teen pioneer who is passionate about preserving the centuries-old tradition of cavalry sport. Despite facing challenges and stereotypes, Sarah has dedicated her time and effort to ensure that this sport continues to thrive.
From a young age, Sarah has been drawn to horses and the art of cavalry. She grew up watching old western movies and dreaming of riding on horseback like the heroes she saw on screen.
When she discovered that cavalry sport was a dying tradition, especially among people of color, Sarah knew she had to do something about it. She started her own riding club and began training other young enthusiasts in the art of cavalry.
Together, Sarah and her club have participated in numerous competitions and events, showcasing the beauty and skill of cavalry sport. They have attracted a diverse group of riders who share Sarah’s passion for preserving this important heritage.
